This is the big tree in the backyard before the tree removal guys came in...
A few branches gone...
All the branches gone, now for the rest of it...
Gone! All done in just over an hour.
Big excitement today - our very first egg! Well done Kath or Kim (not sure who laid this one but we think it was Kim)
We also built a veg garden - this is the 'before' pic (with lots of sawdust from where they took the tree down)
A lot of dirt, some besser blocks for edging and a bit of 'rooster booster'...
... our seeds have grown! And now the garden is ready for them ...
All planted and fenced so 'the girls' don't decide to snack on our veg before we can.
Some tomatoes and 'leafy greens'...
... corn and strawberries ...
... carrots and capsicum! Stay tuned for the progress of our little veg experiment
