Today I ate my weetbix all by myself!

... oops! Those first few spoonfuls are a bit tricky! Didn't quite make it to the mouth before being upended!


So it's a good thing I'm wearing my "catch now, try eating again later" bib!


Just get the spoon in your mouth before the food falls off, Fletch!

Uncle Alex's birthday

We went to Wollongong last weekend to celebrate our Uncle Alex's birthday. It was great to catch up with sooooo many cousins!

Fletch was keen to liven the party up with some guitar music but wasn't sure about how to play...

Happy birthday Dad!

It was Dad's birthday last weekend so I thought I'd get busy in the kitchen and make a cake!


First, chop up the butter so it's nice and soft...


... then put the flour in a bowl (yes, it's a packet mix but a busy girl like me can't make every cake from scratch you know!)...

The milk comes next...

... and the eggs (some of the egg white got away from me)

Mix! Mix! Mix!

Then into the pan and into the oven.

This is the best part. One lolly for the cake, one lolly for me!

All it needs now are a few candles and...

BLOW!
